Viewing a Meili and its tracks
Working with maps
Clicking the Meili from the Home Screen will expand the view to show its location in a small tile. You can then click 'View Map' to take you to a full screen map on which you will see the tracks that tracker has taken in today.
By default the the track for today is shown but you can click the clock icon at the top of the screen to choose a longer date range to views the historical tracks.
The Main Map
Working with Maps
You can access the main map by clicking in the map icon at the bottom of the screen.
You can choose the map type in the top right corner. Options are Open street maps which are great for urban areas. Thunderforest maps which is a global outdoor focused map aimed at outdoor activities, It shows paths and contours.
For users in the UK the option of Ordnance Survey maps support users with skills in this kind of map.
Selecting Trackers
You can choose the trackers to display on the map by clicking top right icon that looks like a bullseye.
Finding out more about each tracker.
You can find out the grid reference, battery status and last update time by clicking pin the tracker icon.
Find Me
You can show your own location in the map by clicking the green button at the bottom of the button stack.
Drawing Routes
You can create a route by clicking on the 'Pencil' (Third from the top) icon in the button stack. See blow for details on how this works. You canals see you existing routes and choose to display them in the map by clicking the second button down in the button stack that looks like a tiny route.
Downloading Maps

As you browse the map, the tile you have already viewed will b automatically cached so you dont have too download them again but If you know you will be offline in a certain area, you can download a section of the map manually so its available to you when you are offline or when signal is poor.
To do this scroll and zoom the map to the size and location you want to download and click the download button. (an arrow pointing down on a white background )You will be taken to a screen like this telling you how big the map download will be. Keep in mind this needs to fit in your phones memory and if you can use Wifi to avoid using your mobile data.
Any areas of downloaded maps that overlap with others will not create duplicates since they are already downloaded so don't worry about being very accurate about what areas you choose to download.
Managing Downloaded Maps
Working With Maps
At any time you can access your downloaded maps by clicking in the down facing arrow on a black background. This is the 4th button from the top in the button stack.
From here you can see all your downloaded maps and how much space they are taking. You can delete them by clicking in the 'bin' icon.
