About the Sharing Centre
The Sharing Centre
Sharing sessions allow you to share the locations of Meilis on your account with other people.
For other people to access you sharing session they will need to install the Meili app and create an account. There is no need for a subscription as they will be using yours.
Sharing session have a start and end date so they expire automatically keeping the locations you share secure. You grant access to a group of trackers by choosing the trackers and the people you want to share them with by simply entering their mobile number. As soon as a person signs in with that mobile number they will be able to see your trackers, its that easy.
Setting up a Sharing Session
The Sharing Centre
To create a sharing session click the 'Create a sharing session' button and give the session a name and start and end date. The session will end after the end data automatically.
You can assign a route to a sharing session which is useful and means every sharer doesn't have to create their own. An example of this would be a DofE Bronze training route or a family mountain bike ride.

The Sharing Centre
Choose the Meilis you want to add to the session by clicking on 'Assign Tracker'
You can rename each tracker and the name exists just for this sharing session. For example you might call it 'D of E Group A' as in the image. This doesn't change the base name of the tracker it's just for this session. You can also choose a colour. When you are done click 'Confirm'
